WHO: 4th & 5th graders are officially registered
WHAT: Math Olympiad is a world-wide mathematics competition that teaches our students:
WHEN: There are 5 contests per year. These take place on Nov. 13, Dec. 11, Jan. 8, Feb. 12, & March 12.
WHERE: In the Media Center every Wednesday morning at 7:30.
WHY: To advance students' problem solving skills.
  • To stimulate enthusiasm and a love for Mathematics
  • To introduce important Mathematical concepts
  • To teach major strategies for problem solving
  • To develop Mathematical flexibility in solving problems
